Building from the beginning

From erecting forts in the family room and tree houses in the yard as a child, to owning and operating a successful company for over two decades, building has been a way of life for Micah Wilson.

Wilson Door and Construction’s owner got his start in the industry as a teenager working jobsites during the summer with his stepfather, moving to full-time after graduating high school while simultaneously completing an apprenticeship in overhead doors.

The combination of skills he’d learned and experienced he’d gained led Micah to start his own construction and overhead door business in 2002. Wilson Door and Construction has enjoyed consistent growth over the years thanks to the large number of returning customers who were happy with Micah’s versatility and focus on customer service.

"When you start a construction project there are 3 things that are major concerns. First, you need a contractor that you can rely on to do a good job. Second, you need a contractor you can trust to fix things that come up that weren't planned for. Third, costs are competitive and in line with the difficulty of the job.

Micah and his company have done work for me for many years. Roofed and painted a log office building on Hwy 14. Put a metal roof on a 60-foot barn and farmhouse. Put in 2 kitchens and did a beautiful barn remodel. I would highly recommend Micah and his men for any project. He is the guy I call when I need something done."
